We are paying Rent for the land alloted by the Governament Authority. kindly clarify whether TDS to be deducted from this rent payment, if so what will be the TDS rate.

I think u need not deduct tax if paid to a government authority. Check the exemption list once.

No need to deduct TDS from rent payable to govt.
