hi all

our h.o pays tds on behalf of branch and branch shows exp. in his books (rent) so, how to shows entire entries in h.o and branch books

plz suggest me

In Branch Books: Rent A/c Dr (by Total Amount) To HO (By TDS Amount) To Party/cash/bank (By Balance Amount) In HO Books: Branch Account Dr. (TDS Amount) To TDS Payable/Bank/Cash If HO and Branch both are having saperate PAN then entries will be different

Dear Mr. Gaurav ! Ms Geethanjali, Mr. Gul & Mr. Dashrath Maheswari aptly and accurately pointed out the required entries. Mr. Dashrath Maheswari, you have wrongly stated as 'PAN' instead of 'TAN'..! may be typing error..
