One company has taken a premises on rent @ 12,000.00 PM. It surrenders 2/3rd of property in the month of October. Now the rent w.e.f from October is Rs. 3.000.00 PM.
The company has deducted TDS on rent till September. From Oct. onwads it discontinue to deduct TDS.
Should the company continue to deduct TDS or it may discontinue to deduct TDS.
SINCE THE TOTAL RENT RECEIVED DURING THE WHOLE YEAR IS LESS THAN RS.1.20 LAKHS HENCE NO TDS IS REQUIRED NOW.
