Respected Experts,

Pllease let me know if Service Tax contain in Professional & Technical and Contract then TDS Applicable / Deductible on Basic Amount or on Consolidated Amount,,Please clear becoz in Rent Case TDS Applicable on Basic Amount Only....Also clarify the CBDT  Cir. 1/2014 regarding TDS on Service Tax.

tds should not be deducted in cases where s.tax amt. has been shown separately in invoice.

If service tax amount is shown separately then nedd to deduct tax only on net amount i.e.( Gross amt- service tax)
