The deduction will have to be made under section 194C.

Single transaction above Rs. 30,000/-

Aggregate transaction above Rs. 75,000/-

Deduct TDS u/s 194C

Company deductee at 2%

Individual deductee at 1%

rules of tds u/s 194C will be applicable.

TDS should be deducted under section 194C

Please reply whether payment to jobworker for processing is covered u=nder this section

Tax should be deducted u/s 194C. for more details refer the link

Is it compulsory to have a contract deed for the purrpose of deduction of tds???

Not a necessity to have a contract deed / agreement to cover u/s 194C

tds will be deducted u/s 194c

TDS u/s 194C

no need of agreement but nature of contract should be present.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a query that I haven't deducted any TDS on the individual advertisement since we didn't receive any bill copy containing total value of the contract. And after full and final payment we came to know that the contract is completed and bills were yet to receive but without deduction of TDS on the contract the payment were made in full and final to the contractor. Now the person is not ready to agree for reimbursement of TDS amount or in providing inclusive tax bill.

Kindly help me in resolving the issue.

Regards,

Kalpana.

we r advertising in the news paper through an agency, say like anu ads ..... can i deduct tds while making payment to that agency.....
