Whether TDS on GST to be deducted on Lease Rent paid to Govt organisation for eg. BSNL

TDS and GST are both seperate taxes. TDS should not be deducted on GST then it will be tax over tax. TDS should be deducted on gross value.194I may be applicable

NO. I AM TALKING ABOUT TDS ON GST UNDER GST ONLY WHICH IS TO BE DEDUCTED @ 2% ABOVE 250000

Lease rental on machinery or what. As per law tax on another tax is never charged.

Deduction of TDS under GST Act has to be made by Central, State Governments, Local Governments and Government entities and Government authorities from their inward supply of Goods or Services or Both under a Contract, exceeds two lakh and fifty thousand rupees.
