My company has received an invoice from SBI Capital Markets Limited towards submission of draft advisory report with respect to Financial Advisory Services for my company. They charged service tax on the amount. Please advice me, whether i have to deduct TDS on this invoice, if yes under which section ?

Thank you for your prompt reply. If there any change, if it for consultancy charge to prepare a consultancy paper on Loan / Debt.

Consultancy charge of any nature come u/s. 194J, unless its any sort of service contract

Yes. Agreed with above.
Also, TDS need not be made on the service tax amount, if the ST amount is separately shown in the invoice issued by SBI Capital.
