TDS on FD interest.

TDS in my FD, for FY 20-21, was deducted, but doesn't reflect on TRACES website. Despite repeated reminders to the company, the deducted amount is still not paid to the IT department. Can I file ITR and show this TDS amount, with TAN number of the company, in the relevant schedule of ITR ??

If your FD is for say..5 year than interest has to be deducted in that 5 year slot on accrual basis, not at time of maturity.
So, On maturity you have received the amount after TDS deduction than pls check in earlier years 26AS

Unless the company files its TDS return, and it appears in your Form 26AS. You should not disclose in ITR; ITD will reject it.

Yes you can file , but I will suggest you not to everify the return as you have 120days time to everify from filing date , as your TDS is not reflecting currently, if you everify and return gets processed TDS is not reflecting in your 26AS , then the same will be disallowed by the CPC,
TDS to be claim only when company will be going to file their tds return.
Agree with AKN, you can do in that manner

Wonderful.

Thank you All, so much.
