Tds on electricity charges
Dear Sir,
We are an solar generating company we are so we are providing electricity to our client and we have mentioned the same in our invoice the client is asking for TDS deduction for the same, for them can anyone consult me if TDS is applicable then rate and section and if no then any notification for same.

Tds is not applicable on electricity charges. .
TDS IS APPLICABLE ON ELECTRICITY ON PRIVATE BILLS, IF PROPERTY OWNER MADE A SELF BILL, THEN WE HAVE TO DEDUCT TDS ON IT, IF WE GOT BILLS FROM BSES RAJDHANI POWER LTD LIKE THAT, OR ANY GOVT BILL, THEN WE WILL NOT DEDUCT TDS ON IT.
