Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the applicability of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) on combined bills for goods and services. For a carpenter's invoice including goods and service charges, TDS is generally only applicable to the service charges portion. This is contingent on the service charges exceeding the relevant threshold limits, which are £30,000 for a single bill and £100,000 annually for office or company use.
First of all it is not crossing the threshold limit............ , whether it is used for office or company use ?? if yes & once if it crosses 30000 in a single bill then you can deduct tds & that is only for service charges .
You can deduct tds but only for service charges ................ if it crosses the threshold limit of 30000 in a single bill & 100000 annually .............
