Tds not deducted

This year I received a payment of Rs.110000/- from a Govt Department for my Jobwork with them. But they didn't Deducted Tax at Source from my payment.

Any impact on me. Can that department ask me to give them the amount of TDS now for payment to IT.

No, TDS is a liability of the payment maker. You need to pay income tax, in case applicable to you

As such possible, but when you have filed IT return declaring the income with liable tax over it, you can deny that.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, Please let me know if there is any option for the department to rectify the transaction.
