TDS lower Rate

998 views 1 replies
Good Day All,

X ltd. submitted Lower Deduction certificate for FY 2019-20 under sec 194C 0.90% till 1 lakh.

During covid-19 pandemic, The TDS Lower Deduction certificate period extended for FY 20-21 till 30th june 2020.

Now, X ltd produced Lower Deduction certificate for FY 2019-20 under sec 194C 0.15% with effect from 30th june 2020 till 10 lakhs.

My doubt is,
Apr-20 to Jun-20, 0.90% TDS had been deducted till 1 lakhs and during these period limit crossed to 1lakh and simultaneously 1.5% TDS deducted for balance amount.

Now (Jul-20), I suppose to deduct 0.15% TDS as per the certificate received for FY 20-21.

So, Apr-20 to Jun-20 whatever percentage i deducted whether it is correct or I need to deduct TDS extra.

please help me..
