Can TDS deducted under Karta's PAN number be claimed by HUF?

Dear Sanjana,
Yes…if the income pertains to the Karta, and the same is taken in the Karta’s A/c then the TDS can be claimed by the HUF.
But yes…since it wont appear in the HUF’s 26AS, you will not get the credit easily and you may have to convince the AO saying that this income is of the HUF and thus the TDS is also claimed by the HUF
