Tds form 16a

ITR 481 views 2 replies

Dear experts,

Please advise me on the following: I have received Form 16 from my employer and also got the 26 AS both of them match well. However in one of my bank TDS a small amount is shown under 194A which is also correct, presently I am away from this bank and not able to get the 16A from bank. Is it okay to file ITR without Unique certificate no against other sources of income, although I do not have any refund but i have to pay some tax

thanks

GR Babu

You can proceed to file return as of now without Form 16A but do collect certificate as soon as possible.

Mentioning TDS certificate no. is not mandatory for filing income tax return. So, you can file your return of income without getting Form 16A. If you are satisfied with your Form 26AS, you need not get Form 16 or Form 16A...
