TDS Due Dates

Dear all,

I have a doubt regarding TDS return filing due dates.TDS return filing due dates are

TDS Payment Due Date for Every Quarter

Quarter	Period	Last Date of Filing
1st Quarter	1st April to 30th June	31st July 2018
2nd Quarter	1st July to 30th September	31st October 2018
3rd Quarter	1st October to 31st December	31st January 2019
4th Quarter	1st January to 31st March	31st May 2019

But how do i decide the period?Like

1)If i deducted TDS in MARCH 2019 FOR AN EXPENSES PAID IN 20TH MARCH 2019,THEN WHAT WILL BE MY RETURN FILING DUE DATES?

2)If i deducted TDS in AUGUST 2019 For an expenses paid in 15th march,and deposited in OCT 2019,WHAT WILL BE MY RETURN FILING DUE DATE?

How do i decide the Quarter?Kis quarter pe return filing kar na hai?

Tds should be deducted at the time of making of payment or booking of expense which ever is earlier.

Like even if u hv booked ur bill seperately owing to the fact it is being kept in a seperate account say ""accruals " then also you hv to account for the tds and deposit it to authorities.
