Tds detucted by bank but not reflected in 26as

TDS has been detucted by the bank. 26AS only shows tds detucted in the last quarter.

But tds has been detucted by bank in first 3 quarters. What is the remedy for me?

I checked with bank - They said they already paid tax and they will give 16A form.

What should i do?

Ask them the time frame within which they will provide you the form 16A .. since it has to be given quaterly and they havn't provided it to you yet..

Hi,

I checked with the bank - They say they have filed with the Incometax dept. Now, they say what happens with 26AS is not thier concerned as they dont have control over it.

Only the last Quarter TDS is reflected in 26AS and not the tds detucted in the 1st 3 Quarters.

So, what is the remedy for this? Should i re-pay the taxes again?

no why would you pay the taxes again.. ask them to proivde you form 16A.. that is their duty as well as liabilty to provide you with the same.. how can they run away frm their responsibilities bt just saying that 26AS is not under their control..
