What is the last date for payment the TDS for brokage bill dated 31/03/08?
I have heard that the TDS can be paid on or before filing date as per Supreme Court Judgment. That means TDS can be paid after 31 May but before the returns filing date. Kindly confirm. If any one is having this judgment copy, kindly give.

DUE DATE FOR PAYMENT OF TDS IS 31ST MAY.
HOWEVER THERE WILL BE NO DISALLOWANCE OF EXPENDITURE EVEN IF PAID BEFORE DUE DATE OF FILING OF RETURN AS APPLICABLE ...........................THIS IS AS PER AMENDMENT IN BUDGET AND NOT SC...............THERE IS NO SC ON THE ISSUE
