Tds demand-urgent

I have filed tds return for Q2 in which I have filled date of deduction of previous quarter.-(Q1). so I received demand notice for short payment.I have already paid the amount. All the details of challan are right. I have changed  date of deduction in tds statement but it has C entry so It was rejected and not allowed to change any details except PAN, AMOUNT OF PAYMENT, DATE OF PAYMENT. I have received demand of 3400 plus interest of 459 for short payment.. Plz help me in this regard.s.
