Tally Prime is showing license expired even after renewal – what can be done?

Others 55 views 2 replies

We recently faced this issue at a client site where they had renewed their TSS license, but Tally Prime kept showing "License Expired." After some digging, here’s what worked:

  1. Restarted Tally Gateway

  2. Reconnected the license under F12 > Licensing > Reactivate Existing License

  3. Made sure the firewall wasn’t blocking Tally Gateway Server port

  4. Checked if the correct Tally.NET ID was used (common mistake)

In many cases, it's just a sync issue between the server and Tally’s backend.
Would love to know if anyone else here has seen similar issues — and how you fixed it.

problem solving posted. very nice.

Thank you Sir. We’ve seen this issue pop up in multi-user setups more often — syncing delays with Tally's backend can be frustrating. Glad it helped! Let me know if you've come across any other quirks or better workarounds — always good to learn more.
