Hi,

I am looking for definte answers regarding the complaints against the TDS deductors who default on depositing the TAXES.

I am a freelance professional and in 2014-15 was paid by my client by 6 transactions out of which first 3 transactions TDS was deposited but rest of the 3 are not being deposited.

This is causing mismatch in my final accounts with Assessing Office and a huge amount of demand has been raised by the Income TAX authority.

I have asked the deductor to pay me or pay the TDS but with no success.

I want to take this matter further in view of the notice issued by the ASSESSING OFFICER.

How should I proceed, since I have already been issued a notice by AO.

On the forum, it has been mentioned to compaint to AO of the deductors jurisdiction. I have no idea how to get hold of this information since I dont have the information of the Ward /Circle of the Deductor as the Firm is in a different city.

Please guide.

Thanks for replying. I am an affected deductee.

I have found the PAN/TAN/Circle no. etc.

I want to know

1) If I should complain with my AO or to the AO of the TDS authority of the DEDUCTOR. or All of them, since a notice has been issued to me to deposit the balance amount.

2) Can this be done Online?

Any inputs would be greatful.
