It is not an Problem, but employee has to file his income tax return and deposit income tax on its income.
even if the salary is 8 lacs?
It is not an Problem, but employee has to file his Income tax return and deposit income tax on its income.
then why the form 16 and 24Q are made?

Employer need to obtain TAN and start deducting TDS, TDS on salary is deducted every month so that take home of employees are uniform in all 12 months, if TDS is not made in 1st month than burden is shifted to remaining months.

TDS is applicable on net taxable income after considering all available deductions, exemptions and losses. So even if salary is 8 lakhs net taxable income can be zero.

24Q is Quarterly TDS return which need to filed as per below dates:

Quarter ending  - 30th June 2019 and Due date -31st July 2019

Quarter ending  - 30th September 2019 and Due date -31st October 2019

Quarter ending  - 31st December 2019 and Due date -31st January 2020

Quarter ending  - 31st March 2020 and Due date -31st May 2020

Do let us know if you have any query.

Thanks

It is a well established law that if the deductor doesn't deduct the TDS but the deductee consider this income, on which the TDS was required to be deducted, in it's ITR and the deductor pays interest from the date on which the TDS was required to be deducted till the month in which the payee file it's ITR then in this case, the deductor would not be the assessee in default.

Check the salary slip, is it mentioned salary to the employee?
