Tds deducted frm salary but not paid to govt

My last employer for the financial year 2012-13 deducted Income Tax from salary but as per Form 26AS they have paid only for month of April and Not paid from May to september. But salary slips shows the deductions made. What could be the actions that could get initiated against this Employer and How ?

Hey

This can also happen when they have not filed E-TDS return for remaining period or not mentioned your details in TDS return filed by them, you can send your form 26 AS copy with payslips to them for revising their e-tds return..

You should ask them whether they have filed tds return or not and if they have filed, ask them to revise the returns. Also ask for the form 16 from them for the period of your employment. If they deny to revise their tds return, file return on the basis of form 16/salary slip and claim tds amount.
