I am an FDA in a govt. office. in our office we deducted tax @ 2% (Non-Salary) and the tax AMT. was paid to the IT head of account thru Treasury in the month of November 2016 (3rd quarter)
But by oversight we did not notice the same and did not file 3rd Quarter.
So, do let me know as it's a govt office and tax already remitted to the IT head of account. But did not file the said quarter.
But, we uploaded the 3rd quarter TDS details which was not uploaded by mistake. Are we liable to pay penalty or late filing charges ?
