TDS Challan By Bank

hello,

as iam working in a limited company, & when iam paying monthly tds challan to bank , now bank is giving us only Computer Generated Copy but they are not giving us that challan's counterfoil which should be given by them, & when we ask them for that counterfoil they say you will get either that challn's counterfoil or computer generated copy

so I want to know whether it is corret to accept only computer generated copy & their will be no problem at the time of assessment

Computer generated copy of challan of TDS paid is enough proof. It contains all the details of payment.

The bottom portion is for manual payment of TDS. In case of Net banking, Taxpayer's Counterfoils is generated by Computer system.
