TDS 26QB property buyer

433 views 2 replies
Hello, As a dedcuter ( property buyer ) i deducted 1% TDS on value of property, paid the same in last week. 1% TDS ON value of property Rs. 22500000 ie. 225000.

But on contrary Deductee can see only 168750 (ie. 0.75% tds ).

So want to know what about difference amount as sale deed happened after lockdown but stampaper and other documentation done just day before lockdown so i have to pay 1% tds instead of 0.75% and i also do the same but why deductee has less amount of credit.

Please help

Your form 26QB would have errors w.r.t date of credit/date of payment.
No it is completely correct there is no error from my side...it might be technical error due to covid benefit of 0.75% of tds as its match perfectly... instead of showing 225000, 168750 is there
