when a cd mfg co purchases inlay cards with their logo on it whether it has to deduct tds.the co supplying the inlay cards charges vat on the bill.

this seems to be a normal sale purchase transaction. However, there can be many cases:
1. If there is a contract between the parties to put Logo for which there is some additional charges, TDS is applicable(on whole amount if single bill is raised or on service payment only if seperate bill).
2. No agreement, Vat is also charged on total value, NO TDS DEDUCTIBLE.
