Whether tds (94C) is deduciable from amt. payable to owner's co-operative socities towards flat maintenace services.

Dear Dipak,
With mere plain understanding of what you have asked, TDS is applicable to co-operative societies for payments made towards maintenance charges. But it has to be furthermore analysed whether the charges have been paid for personal purposes and whether tax audit is applicable for the payer to determine the actual applicability.
