Individual having salary income ₹2500000. After taking all deduction a tax liability of ₹500000 arises and total tds deducted during the year ₹450000 arises. Now ₹50000 shown as short deduction in 24q. Whether I have to pay the remaining ₹50000 as tds although I paid ₹ 150000 as advance tax
Please help me out as tomorrow is last date for tds return....

Discharge of tax liability is the responsibility of assessee. but since TDS is deduction at source,expenses will get disallowed & procecution will arise. instead pay with interest and file the return will be advisable
