Taxation of T-bills & G-Sec bonds

How are T-Bills and G-Sec bonds taxed? How does one calculate income? How to file tax returns?

If the assessee is doing trading activity in T-bills and G-sec bonds then it will be business income

But it's casual and purely for better finance management then any gain or loss on these securities will be either ST or LT gain /loss.

Interest received during intervening period will be interest income and taxed accordingly.
