Withdran PF amount of Rs 4 laks after Four years of contribution to the fund, I would like to know whether the amount is taxable or exempted Income.

if pf is withdrawn after 5 yrs of service then there is no taxability of the same,otherwise it is taxable.So accordingly tds would be deducted from the amount as per the provisions of income tax act,1961.
