What is tax treatment and rules on sale of unlisted shares?

on sale of unlisted share you would not receive benefit of section 10 (38) for long term capital gain and as well as section 111a for short term capital gain but in case you are a dealer in shares you will be able to take benefit of the second mean if you are a non dealer then you have to charge long term capital gain @ 20% and short term capital gain at normal slab rate
