Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the distribution of IGST collected on online sales from Karnataka to Kerala. When Rs 100 IGST is collected, Kerala receives Rs 70.50 and the central government receives Rs 29.50. The conversation also touches upon whether this split accounts for the central government's share that is subsequently returned to states.
Thank you sir. My limited understanding is 50% for kerala and balance 50% for the centre. When you say it is 70 and 30, is it after taking into account the 41% of centres share which goes back to the states?
