is it enough to get tax refund(salary) with the following documents..(bank, pan details leave apart)

>  form 26AS, form 16 provided from traces..

>  where there is no bifurcation of salary(provided only BP, Bonus, HRA ect) i.e. deduction mentioned in form 16 is only statutory provident fund .. neither gratuity nor any deduction given.

so how could i file it without proper deduction mentioned..

Plz reply..

Note: Even company has provided the same from traces..

Hello meena,

First of all, for getting tax refund, you need to mention your bank a/c no. & micr code correctly in the return.......

The things you have mentioned are required for filing the return...

For investments you can claim deduction, but for ded from salary you can ask for salary slip....

If not available, then consider as mention in form 16 part-B

ok thank u for the reply.

yeah , i hav pay slip of june 14  where there has't mentioned gratuity, or any deduction except statutory pro fund.

Note: the company is not even providing form 16 part b

Form 16 will be provided at the year end, but if you are talking about FY 13-14 then company is obligated to provide part B to the employee.

Any person responsible for paying salaries is required to deduct tax at source on the amount payable. The Act lays down that every person who deducts TDS from a payment made, must furnish (to a person to whom such payment is made) a certificate with details. An employer in specific, is compulsorily required to furnish you a certificate, in the format of Form 16, specifying that tax has been paid to the Central Government, with the amount so paid, the rate at which the tax has been paid and other prescribed particulars.

ok thank you Ms saloni..

then, is there any way to get form 16 (part b) from company if they are reluctant to provide it.

like is there any official body for claming these type of issues or

do i write a complaining letter to company manager,( will it works )

how could i get the form 16 ( part b)

plz advise...
