Dear All,
Our Company are giving HRA to all employees. Out of them some employees are living in Leased House. Leased Rent are paid by the company and company has deducted Rs. 1,000/- as rent from the employees. My query is that can we treat both benefit as a Income of the Employees.
Please clarify the same.

yes both have to be treated as income of the employees
ya but rs.1000/- as paid by employees will be reduced from income considered.
