i played on a uk based gambling site and got a winning prize of 1.2 lakh . On which they have not deducted any TDS.
so i need to pay 30.9% from my end.
my question is here should i pay this tax the date when i withdrew that money (i.e. middle of a financial year )or end of the financial year at the time of return filling.
before filing return....and tax will be 31.2% ....as cess has increased from 3 to 4 percent
if tax liability is more then 10000/- you will have to pay advance tax.
