if a medicine retailer offers a scheme to the customers that on every purchase of 50 boxes they'll give a water bottle free gift. whether ITC can be claimed on water bottle and whether gst applicable on bottle??

bottle is not a part of main goods so gst not apply on returnable item...
and what about ITC on bottle??
it will be mixed supply of goods....itc can be claimed on bottles...higher rate of tax on sale i.e bottle or mdicine which ever is higher
sample is free from GST, expect related party, but you have to reverse input credit which goods supply as free
no itc to be claimed on water bottle given as gift to the customer
no itc on bottle bcz bottle is not primary goods

YES , IT IS MIXED SUPPLY AS SUCH WATER BOTTLE NOT UNDER NATURALLY BUNDEL ..... GST RATE IS APPLICABLE RATE OF WATER BOTTLE AND MEDICINES WHICHEVER IS HIGHER ... ITC CAN BE AVAILED
