Tax liab in case of income earned in india as well as abroad
Hello Experts,
I have a query regarding Tax liability of income earned in India and outside India during the same F.Y.
Suppose I worked 7 months in India and 5 months outside India and there is no tax deduction on income earned outside India and as and when required I trd. the amount to Indian bank account.
Please guide me about the tax liability for the F.Y.

you have to pay tax from income earned from india & outside india from basic exemption limit
Thanks for your reply.... and If there is any deduction of tax in abroad.... so, what should be the treatment of it.. I think under section 90 there is an exemption of tax under double taxation policy
you not pay any tax income earned from outside india then you have to pay tax ,you get exemption only under sec 10 & under sec 80 of the income tax act
Mr. Piyush,
It seems that you are not salried but a freelancer. In that case the whole income is taxable but there are some sections in Income tax act which may provide you releif.

Thanks for your reply Mr. Anuj, I hv asked the question only about salaried income. Can you please let me know how i can get the tax relief??
There shall be no releif as no tax has been deducted outside india .
