I have not received tax demand for AY-2011-12 and IT dept has adjusted my refund of AY-2012-13 against demand of AY-2011-12, so I want to know how I can receive my tax-demand notice from IT Dept now...

Did u get any intimation u/s. 143 (1) for the a.y 2011-12. if yes then demand and challan enclosed to it. the demand in the 143 (1) itself is the notice u/s. 156.
No. I have not received any intimation u/s. 143 (1) for the a.y 2011-12, so how can demand same.

if you didnot received any intimation for Ay 2011-12 earlier.
then send request for intimation u/s143(1) online on incometaxindia website.
After getting intimation, rectify the same.
