Is tax deduction towards interest paid on house loan is also applicable when the same ia taken through developement authorities?
i can not find option to show deduction under section 24 in online itr filing portal.
Pls Ask for Interest Certficate for the interest paid, it will be mentioned on the same whether interest is eligible for deduction.
deduction can be claimed under head "interest payable on borrowed capital" in Income Tax Return.
