Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the tax implications for a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) returning to India mid-financial year. Key considerations include determining residential status, which is likely to be Resident Not Ordinarily Resident (RNOR), and how this affects taxation. The applicability of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA) is also mentioned as a factor. The core question is whether tax will be levied on total income earned both abroad and in India, or only on Indian salary for that financial year.

You have to consider the residential status I think your status will be RNOR.

For tax implications DTAA is applicable
It's depends on your residential status

So if I return India  in October month than I have  to Pay Tax on salary either earned in India or foreign ?
