Singhania's Taxman would be very suitable,methinks. Lucid and stiff of solved questions almost on every topics u may find in it.

Will suggest you to read CA. Dr. Girish Ahuja

> You will get to read all the provisions, no skipping for sake of brevity.

> Author’s practical aspects notes given wherever applicable.

> Sequential study of sections, no need to jump to different para on different pages.

> Currently for AY 2013-14, Girish Ahuja is available. Wait for others.

> One drawback: Previous years Q’s are not arranged chapter wise but solved at the end of the book year wise.

> Printing of the book may appear like an act to you, but you will get used to after initial pages.

> Not only a book to pass the exams but you will get proper knowledge of the subject which helps in confidence building.

V.K. Singhania-if you have ample time and keen to clear your concept & gain knowledge and wana solve lots of problems.....it will take lot of time to complete the book but if completed sucess is sure. T.N. Manoharan-for just passing the exam Girish Ahuja-for concept clearity & theory
