Tax audit applicability 1

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies when a tax audit is required for businesses in the UK. Generally, if your turnover is less than £1 crore and your declared profit is not below the prescribed percentage (6% or 8% under Section 44AD), a tax audit may not be mandatory. However, specific conditions under Section 44AB and Section 44AD(4) can still trigger an audit requirement, even with lower turnover or profit figures.

Turnover is not alone the criteria for tax audit ,

Hope one can avail presumptive Taxation even if the turnover exceeds 1 crore for business
