Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the applicability of tax audits for an assessee with sales of £70 lakhs, a business loss of £2 lakhs, and bank interest of £5.65 lakhs. A tax audit is generally applicable unless the assessee has opted out of presumptive assessment in previous years. If the total income falls below the threshold, certain sections of the IT Act, like 44AD(4), may not apply.

Yes, provided he had opted out from presumptive assessment in any previous assessment year/s.

Thanks sir
in case if his interest income is 1 lakh

If total income is below BEL, in that case sec, 44AD(4) of IT act  will not be applicable.
