we are using tally 5.4 version now by fault a wrong entry of very big amt was made in debtors a/c which was non operating from year 2004 now when we open that a/c tally gets hanged as the amt was too big plz tell me sir how to delete a entry thanks in advance entry was something like that : cash a/c dr to party a/c

open that ledger account, go on that entry and press alt + d
If u can delete it... its well & good... or else contact Tally Solutions... they will help for sure...
mail support @ tallysolutions.com if the problem prevails still...
My Dear,
Support on 7.2 and all previous versions has been stopped by the company. I think you will not supported by the company.
Support to earlier versions of Tally is supported by Tally Solutions.
I think you can take backup of the company data and rewrite the data once using Ctrl + Alt + R and check the same.
