YOU MEAN TO SAY EXPORTING TALLY LEDGER, REPORTS ETC DIRECTLY TO PDF.

TO CONVERT TO PDF YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE PRINT AND THEN SCAN IT IN PDF FORMAT.

Well if you have pdf maker then u can directly convert into pdf. It will show the option of adobe pdf when u select the printer.

AGREE.... THIS PROCESS CAN ALSO BE FOLLOWED......TO CONVERT DIRECTLY TO PDF.

download dopdf from its website.

just search in google and you can download

go to whichever screen you want as pdf.

select the printer as dopdf

it will ask the place where it is to be printed

give a location

and the pdf from tally will be ready

You will have to convert either to PDF format or save file and select the "Printer" of the PDF convert software to directly print from the options.
But, you might face layout problems as PDF converters are compatible for MS Office formats

Best way is to save the reports to excel file and take print of the saved copy for more better layout and formating.

PrimoPDF32    is the best software for save pages direct in PDF formate

As Tally is providing exporting of reports in HTML, MS-Excel, etc., it should support direct PDF export also.

So that no such third party software is used. Is any body having Tally's customer care email id so that we can forward this suggestion ?

Dear All,

Tally is coming up with this type of requirement. i.e., exporting of reports directly to PDF and JPEG format without any third party software.

It will be available in there forthcoming releases i.e, Tally.ERP 9 Release 1.8

You may check the same in the www.tallysolutions.com website.
