Hello Freinds, I want to know if there is any Password to Protect the Particular entry in Tally ERP 9. For eg. suppose if I want to to the protect the Transaction entered as Payment Voucher on 09/05/2015, I just wanted the person to view the same but not to edit or delete the transaction. Can same be possible in Tally ERP 9? if yes please explain me in details. Thanks in advance.

I don't think that such kind of facility is available. Although it is an exceptional case i.e. the specified user requirement.

Please contact Tally Developer or Tally Support, they will arrange the developer and charge approx. Rs. 1000/- per hour for modifications as per requirement.

But Security Control will protect all transactions of particular voucher type, which is not as per your requirement to protect a voucher of particular date.

Yes Rahul is right...u can use security control feature to do it ..but u cant do it for the special voucher

Bhavesh at gateway window use Alt+F3 then alter alter Security Control You can set different types of passwords for different users to get access to the tally

Hi Bhavesh it is possible in Tally even I have used this feature many times during course of audit in my articleship if you want to set this feature for only view the transaction and not for edit you can do it.
