Tally --a right choice?
I am a first class Commerce graduate doing CS. I did DCO and now contemplating to learn/work on a good Accounting Software. Could Tally be a right choice? Plz advise.

Any Brand of Car with little difference You can drive if you know driving fearlessly.You better go for SAP/FICO(Module).
Yes Mr AK Das, during the course of CS you can learn about Tally but its a primary level of accounting packages. if you want to do more then as mr Prakash suggest do the SAP
The Tally version I am learning is "Educational" and no transactions can be entered on the dates other than 1 and 2 of every month. How can I turn it "Commercial" and entries of transactions be recorded on any date throught the year?
you need to buy a registered version for getting all the dates. In educational version you can enter only the starting dates and the ending dates.
