All practicing CA's who registered under ICAI, will get free upgrade to Tally 9 from Tally 6.3 or Tally 7.2.
If CA's don't have Tally, they will get Tally 9 new package free.

what do u mean they will get it...I don't understand..the institute will itself make arrangements for giving it to them..or the CA will have to apply to the institute or go to the branch for it or what?

If you are registered under ICAI and if you have Firm registration number, you may contact any Tally dealer/partner/reseller or the company itself to Register and to get Tally 9 Release 3.0 free with Auditor Tool.

this is free until 31st December 2008. Post which the same would be available at a charge which is to be decided.

You have to use Tally72migration.exe (which is available in Tally 9 installed folder to migrate data from Tally 5.4 or Tally 6.3 or Tally 7.2 data to Tally 9
