How it is possible to file table 12 in gstr1for a normal gst registered (departmental shop) delear dealing in so many items of different HSN and large quantities of customers of small quantities.

You should learn to identify the HSN code. Since all suppliers and customers deal in same type of goods in their business, it is one time exercise. May be we can help you if you give the list of the items you are supplying.
Thanks. But sir, I am not asking for the HSN code. I just mean to say if have to give all details of HSN wise quantity along with invoice no, then it's a very tuff job. There are large number of small customers. If there is any simply way to file the return. All the sales are B2C...

If you are using computerised sales invoicing than it is not difficult to get HSNwise quantity details. It's one time job, when you creat new item you should fill HSN code for that item. End of the month software gives you all GST related reports including HSNwise, Quantity with value.

HSN code not not mandatary below turnover of 1.5 crore. if it is exceeded login to HS CODE LIST iNDIA AND place your commodity then it will appear HSN code
