I Think U Should Talk With Service Tax Authority.

For surrender of ST registration following documents you required

1. An Application for Surrender

2.Orignal ST-2

3. An affidavit claiming that firm has no due of any service tax, interest and penalty

4.Copies of Last Four years ST-3

I have surrender one of my client service tax number and all this documents are required by Service tax department of Delhi.

Photocopy of all document should retained because it will take some time by department as they assess your liability if any

For online surrender of Service tax you have to apply online registration in service tax department they give u the Password and ID i get the form from department in FBD, after registration u log in in aces.gov.in there u will find the surrender option.

well, as i have not done online surrender so wait some one will put more clear picture for it.

Now proceedure is online, there is option of surrender of st2

after online submittion there is receipts of surrender of st2

After that you have to subbmitted the hard copy

1 Covering Letter (that we are going to surrender

2 ST2 ORRIGIONAL

3 COPY LAST 4 RETURN

4 AFFIDAVIT  (decalaration that i have no service liability till date)

5 Copy of online subbmittion of surender

I want to surrender Service Tax Number of a company, but  Original ST-2 certificate missplaced.  Please tell me the procedure in this situation how to surrender. Also give the format of application, if any

you can surrender your service tax no. online there is no need to submit hard copy of service tax registration certification ST-2...

or you can file manual. too

Provide the number / photcopy and seek closure. You may mention that the original is lost. Also provide your past years financials
